St. Pete's Fly Shop Reviews
For years my husband has wanted to take a fly fishing guided tour while on vacation. He chose St. Pete's Fly Shop for that tour and had a wonderful time. I think he will take more tours in the... more »

Used St. Peter's to set up a float trip in Wyoming. It was a fantastic experience. Great communication, great guides and great fishing. This was my second guided trip with them, and will not be my last! Our guide listened to what we wanted to achieve on our trip and made sure we got it, and we also caught a lot of fish!
I love the shop. The staff are super friendly, helpful, and notably patient with a beginner-intermediate like myself trying to get better at flyfishing. I just took a guided wading trip up the Poudre Canyon with one of their guides, Xander, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Very friendly, patient, and above all, a very good teacher on all aspects, from best knots, best rig setups, how to read a river to find ideal spots, and teaching various casts appropriate to every given situation we were in. I learned so much in just one day with him that I feel confident of getting out there on my own. If you're a beginner to intermediate like myself, I strongly recommend Xander, though I'm sure all of their guides are just as good. Just go and book a day. You won't be disappointed. Worth every penny.
