Welcome to Colorado!

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Colorado Tourism Office is temporarily closing the Welcome Center locations, effective Monday March 16, 2020 for an undermined period of time. The COVID-19 pandemic is an evolving situation, and the CTO wants to reassure everyone that the health and safety of our guests, our volunteer travel counselors, and our employees is the utmost importance. Suspending operations is out of an abundance of caution. We continue to make decisions about guest and employee safety based on science, as directed by the guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and the CO Department of Health. Please contact 970-491-4775 for info

  • Sweet people with handy maps and great weather tips for southern travellers. I've never seen a better stocked and staffed visitors center.  more »

  • This was one of the better rest stops and welcome centers that I've been to. It is really awesome. Only ones across the Texas line in a swamp past Louisiana, west Texas heading to El Paso and maybe in Southern Oregon and Upstate New York were definitively better. I could debate one in NC and another in Georgia. I'll have to think about it and look at some pictures. I may update this.
  • First, my apologies for reviewing the wrong business, I have corrected the location and thank you for bringing that to my attention. This welcome centers staff DID provide water (even filled my empty gallon I travel with at no cost) and a handicap accessible restroom during my visit to Fort Collins and at which these things were unavailable in the adjacent rest area, and this is incredibly valuable considering neither myself nor my service dog can survive without them! Thank you for not disregarding my life and for understanding when I commented in the wrong place. And thank you twice for simply filling a need you saw! Your respect and integrity as mere employees is contagious! 'We the people' could use some more of that 'love' spread around I do believe :)
