Fort Collins

— 6 nights
Called vibrant, eclectic and authentic, Fort Collins tops “best of” lists year after year thanks to its myriad of cultural opportunities.
Get in touch with nature at Trail Ridge Road and Reservoir Ridge Natural Area. Get a sense of the local culture at Chapel on the Rock and The 1879 Avery House. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Fort Collins: Rocky Mountain National Park (Emerald Lake Trail, Many Parks Curve Overlook, &more). There's still lots to do: tour the pleasant surroundings at Cathy Fromme Prairie Natural Area, take an in-depth tour of 1883 Water Works, see the interesting displays at The Farm at Lee Martinez Park, and grab your bike and head to Poudre Trail.

For other places to visit, more things to do, and more tourist information, read our Fort Collins attractions planner.

Expect a daytime high around 87°F in July, and nighttime lows around 55°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 14th (Tue) early enough to travel back home.
