Fort Collins

— 4 nights
Called vibrant, eclectic and authentic, Fort Collins tops “best of” lists year after year thanks to its myriad of cultural opportunities.
Chapel on the Rock and The 1879 Avery House are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Visit Holzwarth Historic Site and Shambhala Mountain Center for their historical value. Change things up with these side-trips from Fort Collins: Ouzel Falls (in Rocky Mountain National Park) and Red Feather Lakes (Deadman Lookout & The Golf Club At Fox Acres). There's much more to do: indulge in some personalized pampering at some of the best spas, take an in-depth tour of Totally 80's Pizza & Museum, don't miss a visit to Jessup Farm Artisan Village, and sample the tasty concoctions at New Belgium Brewing Company.

For maps, photos, ratings, and tourist information, you can read our Fort Collins trip builder tool.

In July, plan for daily highs up to 87°F, and evening lows to 55°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 13th (Mon) early enough to travel back home.
